John Wiehoff, Executive Chairman C.H. Robinson Worldwide, is set to retire in May according
to the announcement made by the logistics company on the 12 th of February. Wiehoff became a
director at the Minnesota based company in 2001and has served as a chairman since 2007. The
retirement is effective at the end of his tenure, during the stockholders meeting on the 7 th of May,
which is held annually.

According to the CEO Bob Biesterfeld, the company grew from being a ‘middleman thing’ to a
global supply chain company, creating worthiness to a tremendous level for their customers,
carriers, and stockholders, with the best interest of their employees at heart, to promote
learnability, growth, and quality service. The successor to Wiehoff is to be announced later,
probably before the stockholders' meeting.

Wiehoff reiterated on the pride he has in what C.H. R0binson has been able to achieve over the
years. He stated that he was excited to make to see how they continue growing, claiming that he
had confidence the company would enjoy more years of success since they are well-positioned.
Wiehoff Served as CEO from 2002 to 2019, amongst many other positions including; senior vice
president, chief financial officer, treasurer, and corporate controller, and was employed at Arthur
Andersen.
