FALL TIPS FOR SAFE TRUCK DRIVING

You all know that fall brings shorter days. That means you'll have more driving time where the Sun is lower in the sky.
Please be aware of increased Sun glare which can make road obstacles harder to notice.
To avoid that you should have your sunglasses within reach and the windshield should be clean at all times.

This time of year is the time when deer are more active than usual.
They are most active during the evening when the Sun comes down. And in the early morning when Sun comes up.
They move in herds, that means if you see one probably there are more of them.

At this time of year, one more cause on the road problems is the leaves. Fallen leaves can obscure a hole in the road. And if wet it can slow down or nearly disable braking.
So if you see leaves on the road slow down and increase caution!
