Private Fleet Sector Performances

All private fleets fared differently in various sectors. With a fleet of 8,745 tractors, Sysco Corp took the first spot in the foodservice sector. U.S. Foods followed it in the second position. On the other hand, Performance Food Group plans a merger with Mark Holding Co. McLane Grocery Distribution led in the grocery sector. This sector had minimal changes.

Tyson Foods held the top spot in the agriculture and food processing sector. CHS Inc. and Prairie Farms Dairy occupied other spots within the top ten. However, Dean Foods dropped out of the top due to bankruptcy. On the other hand, Halliburton Energy Services maintained the lead in the petroleum and chemical sectors.

Walmart Inc. maintained the top spot in the wholesale and retail sector. Amazon.com Inc. made its way up to the second position. Michels Corp. performed better than Williams Bros. in the construction sector. Meanwhile, United and Sunbelt Rentals held the 1st and 2nd spots in the equipment rental sector. WillScot Mobile Mini Holdings Inc. held 4th position. It resulted from the merger of WillScot Corp. and Mobile Mini Inc.

Quikrete Cos. kept its spot at the top of the sector of Building Materials. It was closely followed by Cemex USA. CRH Americas, BlueLinx Holdings, and ABC Supply Co. occupied the other top five spots in the top five. On the other hand, Ashley Distribution Services help the top spot in the manufacturing sector. Shaw Transport was coming second.
